As a church plant without our own building, we are limited in being able to offer temporary shelter. We hope that these resources, who we partner with on a volunteer basis, will assist you in finding temporary shelter. That being said, please feel free to .

Partnership for the Homeless
Numerous shelters in all five boroughs.
Walk-in intake center open from 9AM-5:30PM, 305 7th Avenue (between 27th and 28th streets in Manhattan, 13th floor), 212.645.3444.

Covenant House
24 hours a day, 7 days a week shelter for adults and children under 21 years, located in Manhattan

C.H.I.P.S.
Shelter for women in north Park Slope, 200 4th Avenue.
For an intake appointment, call 718.855.8861.
Women must meet the following criteria:
1) a single homeless mother in her last trimester of pregnancy
2) a single homeless mother in her last trimester of pregnancy with another child (up to two years old)
3) a single homeless postpartum mother with her newborn (up to three weeks old)
Requirements: All residents must be drug and alcohol free and be able to live and work in harmony with staff and other residents. Each woman must agree to abide by the policies and rules of the Francis Residency program.
