Conference Location

A Conversation on Denominational Renewal will be held at Memorial Presbyterian Church, located at 201 S. Skinker Blvd, across from Forest Park and next to Washington University. All conference events- prayer, lectures, Q&A, Wednesday lunch, and small group discussions will be held at Memorial. 

Accommodations

Hotel rooms are being held for conference attendees at the Parkway Hotel. The Parkway Hotel is located at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Forest Park Blvd, in the Central West End. All rooms have two double beds, a microwave, a refrigerator, and internet access at no cost. A continental breakfast is provided for hotel guests. The hotel is one block from the central west end metro station, and parking is available for $5 per day. Please make your room reservations under "Denominational Renewal" to receive the discounted rate of $124/night by Friday, February 15.

We ask that you make your room reservations directly with the Parkway Hotel, but if you are coming to the conference alone and would be interested in sharing a room to decrease costs, please contact us using the link at the bottom of the page, and we will do our best to connect you with other conference attendees. 

 

 

The Central West End

The Central West End is an area in St Louis known for its wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants, and historic neighborhoods. Conference attendees will have opportunities to continue conversations from the conference sessions by gathering for dinner or coffee at one of the many restaurants in the Central West End.

Transportation Options

Memorial Presbyterian church and the Parkway hotel are about 2.5 miles apart, an easy drive or brisk February walk down Forest Park Boulevard. Both are accessible via a short walk from the Metro station. Additionally, the Metro also provides easy access to and from Lambert St. Louis International Airport.

St. Louis Weather

Please be sure to check the weather as the February conference date approaches; St. Louis is known for its high variance in temperatures from day to day, especially in the winter months! If you enjoy the outdoors, there are lots of running and walking trails in Forest Park, which is nestled between the Parkway Hotel and Memorial Presbyterian Church.
