Managing God’s Money
Most of us struggle at one time or another with managing our financial resources well. Sometimes it can seem impossible to keep up with bills, plan for the future, and live generously all at the same time. This class will take a look at money from the
perspective of scripture and help us learn that the way we deal with money has to do with the state of our souls, as well as the state of our balance sheet. If you plan to
participate in this class, please visit the book table and pick up a copy of Giving: Unlocking the Heart of Good Stewardship.
Practice Resurrection: A Study and Extended Meditations in Ephesians
We babble before we speak, walk before we run, and make many mistakes before we master our vocations. Maturing in life takes practice! Just the same, maturing in the life of Christ takes practice--resurrection practice! Participants in this class will have an extended conversation, centered in the book of Ephesians, about “grow[ing] up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ” and engage together in disciplines that
promote that growth. If you plan to participate in this class, please get a copy of Practice Resurrection: A Conversation on Growing Up in Christ, available at the book table.

Children's Sunday School

Sunday School classes for children three years old through junior high are offered from 9:30-10:15 (same time as adult Sunday School).

Children three years old through third grade will learn simple catechism questions and answers about God, Scripture, and the world designed to help them build a firm foundation for faith in Christ. Kids will memorize questions and learn biblical truths with the help of stories, songs, games and crafts.

Students in fourth grade and up will complete a series of four-week studies on topics in Christian living and spiritual formation, such as Bible reading, prayer, decision-making, and engaging culture.

In addition, both the nursery and toddler room will be open upstairs starting at 9:30.

Adult Sunday School

It is our hope that each participant in PSPC Adult Education and Sunday school has an intellect, affections, imagination and habits that are well cultivated for growth in Christian maturity. To that end, we are in the midst of designing a three year Sunday School and Adult Education curriculum that will include thirty classes in Biblical Literacy, Theology,  Apologetics, The Story of the Church/Church History, and Discipleship/Spiritual Practices.  Each class is created to engage mind, heart, and habit to love and serve Jesus more. The thirty classes will be broken into:

Core Classes—those we consider essential material for growth in the Christian life

Electives—those classes that appeal to a particular interest or stage of life.

The thirty classes will be offered over the course of 3 years, 2 during each eight week session.

The following classes begin on March 6th and will continue through April. Please join us.

Resurrection: Did it happen? What does it mean?

The scandal and offense of the Christian faith is the claim that Jesus rose from the dead after being brutally executed on a Roman cross two thousand years ago. Could it possibly be true? And if it is true, what difference does it make for us today? Join as he facilitates discussion of a DVD series on the resurrection of Jesus Christ led by Bishop N.T. Wright. Each class will view a segment of the DVD followed by class discussion. This class will be helpful to both Christians and those exploring the Christian faith.
