The Blessing

The Bible speaks of the church as the family of God, and like any family, we each have privileges and responsibilities. One of the primary responsibilities in the church family is sacrificial service both to God and others. Jesus, our elder brother models for us what it means to serve others in love, both in terms of our actions and motivations. Ministry is not an abstract or lofty activity performed by church professionals: it is simply a response of gratitude to God’s goodness that can be practiced by anyone. We believe that we can love others most fully when we begin to realize that Jesus has first loved us. What’s more, we can grow in that knowledge when we serve others for him.

Our basic strategy is to connect individuals and groups to ministries where they can best serve and put their passion into practice.
