Calling All Artists: Donate Your Art To Help Serve Brooklyn!

Feb 3, 2011

Brooklyn Jubilee will host its second annual Silent Art Auction Fundraiser in April, and we need your help! If you are a visual artist, please consider donating a piece of artwork to raise funds for Brooklyn Jubilee. 100% of the funds raised will go towards the ministry of serving Brooklynites in need of free legal clinics, workshops and more.

Why Donate Your Art?

Being a part of this auction is a chance to use your creative talents to directly help the Brooklyn community and show grace to our neighbors. Donating artists will be special guests at the event—this is an opportunity to network with guests, patrons and fellow artists in your community. Your donation is also likely tax-deductible, and you’ll receive a letter from us memorializing your gift.  Plus, commit to donating early, and you’ll receive a second opportunity to network with donors at our pre-show in Manhattan, opening on April 7th.

What Should I Donate?

  • Original works, or original fine art prints
  • 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional
  • Able to hang on a wall or freestanding (on the floor or a table)
  • $75 to $1000 in value
  • Ready to hang or display

How to Donate

Email and let us know, briefly, what you will donate, and send a jpg of the image. You will receive more details about when and where to drop off your work, and will be asked to complete a brief form so that we can accurately represent you and your work.

The Deadline:

To donate work for the Brooklyn Art Auction you must drop off your work by March 25th.

To participate in the Manhattan pre-show, you must email us a jpg by February 21st.
